Hi everyone,
As someone who’s deeply interested in both personal development and education, I’ve been thinking a lot about how we can help students not just learn academically, but also grow emotionally and spiritually.
In today's world, stress and distraction are everywhere—even for younger students. I’ve seen a few schools start introducing mindfulness and short reflection sessions, which I think is a great step. But I’d love to hear more thoughts from experienced educators here at ATTI.
What are some simple practices that you’ve found effective in helping students stay grounded or calm during the day? Do you think spiritual reflection—depending on students’ backgrounds—could be integrated into wellbeing programs?
For instance, in my own experience, I’ve found listening to peaceful recitations like Surah Mulk before bed really helps reduce anxiety and brings clarity. There’s a resource I personally use that offers Surah Mulk in PDF, audio, and English translation here:👉 https://surahyasinpdf.com/surah-mulk/
I’m wondering if tools like this, when used respectfully and inclusively, could also support students' mental wellbeing.
Looking forward to your suggestions or experiences—how do you handle this kind of thing in your classrooms or training environments?
Thanks in advance
