Hajj and Umrah are two significant pilgrimages in Islam, each with distinct seasons and rituals. Hajj occurs annually in the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah and is mandatory for all Muslims who are physically and financially able to undertake it. This pilgrimage encompasses specific rites, including standing at Arafat and the Tawaf around the Kaaba. Conversely, Umrah, known as the "lesser pilgrimage," can be performed at any time of the year, making it more flexible. Both pilgrimages offer profound spiritual benefits, allowing Muslims to seek forgiveness, purify their souls, and strengthen their faith during these sacred journeys.
